CFC to host London Market Cyber Symposium

London skyline30 Nov 15: Cyber insurance specialist, CFC Underwriting, is hosting its annual London Market Cyber Symposium this week having brought together an exciting panel of speakers to share their views on what is one of the hottest topics on the international news agenda.

Insurance industry guru and executive deputy chairman of XL Catlin Insurance, Stephen Catlin, has described cyber as one of the most systemic and complex risks that he has encountered in his 40 plus years in the industry.

Lord David Blunkett became heavily involved in cyber security as Home Secretary and acted as the Honorary Chair of the International Cyber Security Protection Alliance until March 2015. His political insight will be fascinating given recent events and the growing threat cyber terrorism.

Completing the line-up investigative reporter, Brian Krebs, will deliver the keynote presentation. Formerly at the Washington Post, Brian is best known for his coverage of cyber crime and is credited with breaking the stories behind major security breaches including Target and Home Depot.
